Account Deletion Request

At Payess, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your Payess account and all associated data, please follow the steps below. This process is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your Payess account using any of the following methods:

Method : Via Email

  1. Send an email to support@payess.online Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  2. Include your registered mobile number in the email body This helps us identify and verify your account.
  3. You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours We may contact you to verify your identity before processing.
  4. Your account and data will be deleted within 7 business days You will receive a final confirmation once deletion is complete.

What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:

Login credentials & session data Deleted Immediately
Wallet balance Deleted Within 7 days
Push notification tokens Deleted Immediately
Transaction history Retained 180 days Deleted after 180 days
Payment/financial records Retained as required by law Per regulatory requirements
Important: Transaction history and payment records may be retained for up to 180 days (or longer if required by Indian financial regulations such as RBI guidelines) for audit, compliance, and dispute resolution purposes. After the retention period, this data is permanently deleted.

Important Things to Know

  • Account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered.
  • Remaining wallet balance should be used or withdrawn before requesting deletion. Any remaining balance will be forfeited.
  • Pending transactions will be completed or refunded before your account is deleted.
  • You can create a new account after deletion, but your previous data and transaction history will not be restored.
  • Processing time: Deletion requests are processed within 7 business days from verification.
